Dr. Clare Liddy is the Chair and Full Professor at the University of Ottawa’s Department of Family Medicine with a University of Ottawa Research Chair in eConsult and Primary Health Care Delivery. In addition, she is a Senior Investigator at the C.T. Lamont Primary Health Care Research Centre, Bruyère Research Institute, and a practicing family physician at the Ottawa Hospital Academic Family Health Team. Dr. Liddy currently holds multiple research grants examining the impact of eConsult on the care of patients with dementia, frailty, and chronic pain. She is the Primary Care Lead for the award-winning Champlain eConsult BASE™ service (ChamplainBASEeConsult.com) and the Co-Executive Director of the Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence (OntarioeConsult.ca), which is managing the expansion of eConsult across Ontario. Across platforms, Ontario eConsult has processed over 300,000 cases on behalf of patients, the majority of whom don’t require a face-to-face visit after an eConsult. She has received over $37 million of peer-reviewed grant funding (including $12.1 million as a Principal/Nominated Principal Investigator), presented findings at over 450 international, national, and provincial conferences, and published more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Her achievements in research and program implementation have been recognized by a number of awards, including the Leading Practice Award from the Health Standards Organization (2020), the Future Innovation Award from the Change Foundation (2020), the Canadian Family Physician Researcher of the Year Awards from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (2019) and the Physician Changemaker Award from the Canadian Medical Association (2018).

Dre Clare Liddy est Directrice et Professeure titulaire au sein du Département de médecine familiale à l'Université d'Ottawa et titulaire d'une Chaire de recherche à l'Université d'Ottawa sur la consultation électronique (eConsult) et la prestation de soins de santé primaires. En outre, elle est chercheuse principale au Centre de recherche en soins de santé primaires C.T. Lamont, à l'Institut de recherche Bruyère, et médecin de famille pratiquant au sein de l'équipe universitaire de santé familiale de l'Hôpital d'Ottawa. Dre Liddy est actuellement titulaire de multiples subventions de recherche examinant l'impact d'eConsult sur la prise en change des patients atteints de démence, de la fragilité et de la douleur chronique. Elle est la principale responsable des soins primaires pour le service primé Champlain eConsult BASE™ (ChamplainBASEeConsult.com) et la co-directrice exécutive du Centre d'excellence eConsult de l’Ontario (OntarioeConsult.ca), qui gère l'expansion d'eConsult dans l'ensemble de l'Ontario.
